Creating a career character is about making the intangible tangible (strong influence from Michael Chekhov).

How do you move an idea of your career character into something you and others can see and believe?

Leadership upleveling is not a thought exercise, it’s psychophysical. This exercise helps you warm up & know the leaders most important instrument, the body.

To continue this exploration, you might play with:

Speed
How much space you take up in a room
Openness
How much expression lives in your arms?
How grounded/ungrounded do you want to be?
Do you have flight in how you move and talk? Or are the words stable and low?
Expansive/contractive?

You can first write these down, and then play with the movements. Perhaps with music as the portal opener.

Additionally, discovering how to locate your career centre, can be career-shifting too.
